Go to the UGA graduate school application website.

Complete their application and upload the following required materials:

Items required by the UGA Graduate School:

  1. Résumé/CV

  2. Official transcripts

  3. Statement of purpose

  4. 3 letters of recommendation

  5. TOEFL or IELTS (minimum score of 80 overall with at least a 20 in the speaking and writing sections)

After completing the UGA Graduate School application, email the materials below to Anne Hurne in the Grady College graduate studies office:

  1. Supplemental application

  2. Personal statement describing your interest in health and medical journalism

  3. Resume/Curriculum vitae

Ph.D. program: application deadline is January 1.
M.A. program: application deadline is March 1.
